There's a housing shortage in Petersburg, I'm told, so this could be an opportunity to alleviate it to some extent. There's work to be done, as is common with bank-owned properties. Assuming the price reflects its condition, however, there should be room to acquire the property, make the needed repairs and make money from the rental units and potentially a profit when you later sell it.
Please review the appraisal report if you wish to have the most detailed information about the condition of the property that is available. Download from the link above.
To view the property, conduct inspections, and submit an offer to the seller please call me to make arrangements. Although I am in Anchorage I've placed the keys with someone in Petersburg who can provide access. She can only provide access, however, as this is a real estate transaction. All information concerning the property and the terms of a potential sale must come from a real estate licensee such as myself.
This is a strictly as-is sale, with no implied obligation of the seller to fix anything.
It is your responsibility as buyer to do your own due diligence on this or any property.
This is an acquired asset of a lending institution. The property is being marketed in its "as-is" condition. The seller responds promptly, usually on the next business day. There is no property disclosure form being provided. Please call me concerning this owner's policies and practices, including special forms and procedures to follow, and the order in which offers will be considered. The seller's standard contract forms are available for review in the information package.
