Need a functional townhouse style home with a
double garage, a fenced yard and no homeowner's dues or
restrictions? This could be for you!
This part of 20th is just down from East High
School, off Bragaw. It's a quiet little neighborhood bounded by
Bragaw and the ARC of Anchorage and a Salvation Army campus.
There is a mixed build-up of single family homes, a small condo
project and these zero-lot line homes. The University of Alaska,
Chester Creek greenbelt and Goose Lake Park are just on the
other side of Northern Lights Blvd.
Because it's a zero-lot and not a condo there
are none of the customary homeowner association dues or
restrictions. The yard is fenced, too, not something you are
always allowed to do in some of the newer, but more expensive
site condo projects.
This is a bank-foreclosed property. The interior
has been repainted and things have been cleaned out for showing.
The carpets were not changed, however, which may explain a price
that is considerably lower than a pending sale of an identical
unit a couple doors away. It should be possible to negotiate new
carpet into a commensurate higher price for this home without
encountering an appraisal issue.
