And Two Buildings

(Sale Pending)
Here is prime downtown land in the heart of Anchorage. One of the oldest land parcels
from the original town site, such opportunities are rarely seen in this market. Owned by
the Landstrom family, the assemblage consists of an apartment building and an old house on
one lot, a half-lot beside the house, and two city lots for additional parking across the
alley.

looking west, the right side looking east. The camera is facing north, from the parking
garage for the Anchorage Court House, just to the south. Click on each image to bring it

The land totals 22,500 square feet and is zoned
B2C, a central business district classification. The apartment building was originally an
office building in Chickaloon, was moved to this site in the 1930's. The house was
originally a four-plex, built in 1917 at the time of the founding of Anchorage. There is a
basement under it and a garage. It is currently configured as two apartments. There are
seven apartments in the larger building, which totals 4800 square feet. The other building
is 2484 square feet. Both are in poor repair, contain asbestos and numerous code
violations. The price of this package reflects the condition of the improvements.
