Convenient to East
Anchorage military bases, the university complexes and medical
facilities, Chugach Foothills has been a favorite location for
homeowners here for 25 years or more. The neighborhood is a
mixture of single family detached homes, attached zero-lot lines
like this home, and one apartment-style condominium complex.
There is a city park at the end of this quiet cul-de-sac and
seasonal views of the Chugach Mountains.
In the panoramic photo
above this home is in front of my green Expedition. It's on the
right of the cul-de-sac as you enter and has a big fenced back
yard with a new shed and storage under a large deck at the rear
of the home. There's an immense lilac in the neighbor's yard
that wafts its scent over your yard and deck. It shows in the
third photo of the photo gallery below.
The owners have taken good
care of their home. There's new paint inside and out, new carpet
downstairs (the upstairs carpet didn't need replacing) and a new
gas range and hood. The roof is new also.
Many of these homes don't
have a second full bath. With the master bedroom up stairs and
two bedrooms served by a second full bath downstairs, you can
imagine a wide variety of family and guest configurations.
In the living room under a
vaulted ceiling that gives a feeling of spaciousness there's a
lovely brick fireplace.
To give an almost turnkey
opportunity for the new owner the washer-drier set has been left
behind.
