Benton Homes
When You Want to Know Your Builder Personally
(Past Listings, for illustrative purposes only)
Robert Benton is your family builder who does much of the work himself, giving his
customers the benefit of his low overhead. Benton delivers unsurpassed quality and
craftsmanship with extremely competitive per-foot pricing. "We live where we
build," says Robert, "and we aren't greedy."
In growing South Anchorage, Benton Homes is the choice of the home buyer who wants a
close working relationship with the personnel who build a dream home for them. Benton
Homes' most popular plan, the "Tuscany" features the large secondary bedrooms
often requested by Anchorage's growing families. The second floor loft serves as a work
area or study, often with pleasant views of the mountains, depending on the lot. It has
been built as a four bedroom plan without a loft.
The "Monaco" is a new plan now under construction in Turnagain View. It features
an often-requested bonus room on the ground floor. With a 3/4 bath adjacent, the room can
double as a guest room or study. There are four bedroom upstairs, including the master
bedroom that fills half the floor for total luxury. "Our framers went wild,"
says Robert, "They even found room for a loft, in addition to the five
bedrooms." With a triple garage on a lot that's over 10,000 square feet, the home is
priced at $268,000.
Also under construction is the "St. Michele." This is an exciting custom plan
created by Benton Homes clients and designed to exploit the spectacular view from the top
of the knoll at Discovery Heights. The home sports a ground floor master bedroom and a
loft area above the two-story living room. From the loft you access the secondary bedrooms
and a family room that faces the ocean. Additional lots are available at this newest
Anchorage exclusive community. With predominant home values in excess of $400,000 this
plan meets the minimum requirements of the neighborhood and is offered at appraisal,
$274,000.
Finally, Benton Homes has a new plan at the conceptual stage as of Labor Day for custom
home buyers who just acquired an acre lot on the Hillside. We will keep you informed at
this Web Site, or call for an update.
Interior decor is the choice of each customer and varies from the contemporary white-
on-white look to a more traditional selection of oak cabinetry and trim. The 2498 square
foot version of the Tuscany most recently appraises for $257,000 on a typical lot. Smaller
versions are available from $245,000.
